There is always a desire when you get started in an awesome new hobby like home brewing to go out and get the most expensive equipment and accessories and dive in head first. But if you head out and spend too much on equipment which is simply inappropriate for starting out, not only can you become overwhelmed but if your passion for home brewing doesn’t persist, you can end up feeling terrible about this type of large expenditure of money. So, similar to a lot of hobbies, it’s better to start out slowly, purchase some simple starter gear, brew one or two batches of beer, and expand from there. Continue reading →
