When I was young, my grandmother worked across the street from a French bakery. She brought home two Napoleans one day. Let me tell you… Nothing says love better than a very flaky pastry with a lightweight pudding-like center topped with a white-and-black icing. Can pastry make a 15-year-old’s mind turn to mush?

Well, on my way to checking my e-mail, my passion for pastry was satisfied when I finally decided to check out the recipes on my MSN home page. One of today’s delights is called Ice-Cream Phyllo Napoleons. It is on a website called Cooking with Jacques Pepin that looks pretty delicious.
